Tools are interconnected, immediate, interactive, communicative and community based.
Chapter 2
Today's children think, work and play differently than any other generation.
Student's are strong believers in the power of technology.
Schools are still more text-dominated and do not integrate technology into student learning effectively.
Chapter 3
New tools include Blogs, Wikis, Podcasting, Photo sharing, Video showcasing and social bookmarking.
Students and teachers can use electronic portfolios.
